Ultra-sonic teeth cleaning

Ultra-sonic teeth cleaning involves the emmi-pet toothbrush which uses high-frequency vibrations to reduce plaque and bacteria. This not only provides a deeper clean, but also makes brushing a stress-free experience for your dog - which is the main priority!

Regular use can prevent the build-up of tartar and gum disease and even reduce the frequency of professional dental cleanings.

This service is particularly beneficial for dogs with sensitive or inflamed gums, reducing inflammation and preventing disease without causing pain or discomfort.

The ultrasonic vibrations can penetrate deeper into the interdental spaces and along the gum line (where manual toothbrushes can not reach) to remove biofilm, plaque and bacteria more effectively. Ultrasonic toothbrushes also have the advantage of improving blood circulation to the gums, thus preventing gingivitis or assisting in the healing process.

These toothbrushes are silent, making it more comfortable for nervous dogs when fumbling around in their mouth!

The first appointment is 30 minutes long, during this time I will remove as much plaque as possible - some dogs may need a few appointments to do so. From here onwards, maintenance appointments can be performed during a full groom when requested. The maintenance appointments will ensure that plaque and tartar does not build up again.

The image below is my dog Penny - she is a miniature dachshund. Her breath had a foul fishy smell for quite some time, her teeth needed some attention. It was obvious Penny had a build up of bad bacteria, plaque and tar tar in her mouth. The build up looks minimal but it was causing secondary issues such as the bad breath.

Instead of a visit to the vet, I tried ultra-sonic teeth cleaning and it worked wonders. Penny no longer has foul smelling breath and her teeth are sparkly white. The build of plaque was easily removed during this service. Also, she was unfazed by the experience.

Now, this service is something I will be doing regularly on Penny to keep her bad breath at bay!
